Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actor and singer, was born on October 20th, 1983, in Herzliya, Israel. Following her service in the Israeli Defense Forces, she began her professional career. In 2003, she starred in an Israeli movie. This was her first big break. At the time she also played in two TV shows in Israel. She was also a musician and recorded a number of songs together with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal was able to move in with her sister to New York in order to have a break from her career. In the track "Party to Damascus", she collaborated in an arrangement with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television was also where she found herself. Her first appearance was a recurring character in the TV show Veronica Mars. Tal was later offered an ongoing role in the short-lived CBS series. Starred in two television programs in Israel before changing to New York. Wyclef Jean wrote a song. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Came in second for the role of Veronica in Veronica Mars (2004).Originally she auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the title role. Thomas was so in love with her, he made the recurring role Meg Manning for her. She was a member of The Israel Defense Forces. Both of her parents are Jews. Her father is Turkish/Jewish while her mother is Polish/Jewish. As Adrian's daughter, she plays Monk's murderous wife in the finale in the final season of Monk (2002).Has a daughter, Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017), with her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
